WordMothers aspires to introduce female-identifying writers to new readers, inspire other writers, engage with book industry professionals, and encourage fresh dialogue concerning the role of women in the literary arts today.
You are warmly invited to contribute if you are:
A * published author, novelist, poet, essayist, or journalist;
A produced playwright or lyricist;
A spoken word artist with a solid track record in performance;
An editor, literary agent, or publisher;
An academic in a relevant discipline.
I’d also love to include women running specialty bookshops, writing retreats, significant literary prizes etc… that support other women in the literary arts.
And if you are in the word business and can’t find your role described anywhere here, please visit the Contact page to tell me what you do!
WordMothers embraces diversity and minority voices are especially encouraged to contribute. Genderqueer artists also welcome.
