Book Reviews

Book reviews are a new addition to WordMothers. Here are the titles I’ve reviewed so far.

You’ll note that I have nice things to say about all these books. That’s not because I love everything I read. It’s because writing a considered review takes time, and I would rather spend that time building something up than tearing something down. If I don’t enjoy a book, I don’t review it.

While I aim to make WordMothers as diverse and inclusive as possible, my reviews are more taste-specific. I’m a slow reader. I also live with 5 kids. The books on my bedside table are usually literary fiction, YA, middle grade, picture books, and poetry. That said, I love to be pleasantly surprised by something outside those genres.

If you would like me to review your book, please get in touch via my Contact page and we’ll see if we’re a good match.
